I have always had a love for photography, that’s why working in a studio environment feels so right. I studied photography at A-level and it’s definitely helped me get the best out of my makeup designs. I understand all about composition, lighting and camera angles, as well as knowing what makeup reflects well for a camera and what doesn’t!

I met Katrin at the Harrods ‘Mini Superbrands’ event and she asked if I was able to do her hair and makeup for her professional modelling portfolio with MOT Models. She hired a lovely studio in Brixton with a variety of fab backdrops (including a roof terrace!). We did a few different designs to match the outfits she had brought with her. We started with a very natural, beachy look and dialled it up towards the end of the shoot.
